Laughenis currently caters for 6 guests in a somewhat interesting cottage, with an artistically designed atmosphere.

  Each room is beautifully appointed and speaks for itself, with unique features and decor that adds to your special Laughenis experience!

The cottage is fully equiped for self catering - and with a spectacular view, you will be inspired to cook a storm! Laughenis also features a very unique outside bbq area- be sure to be rocked by this feature!

The main room in blue, green and brown was inspired by our spectacular region:  Endless blue skies, lush fynbos, and the famous Cedarberg.

The middle room is a mixture of colour, texture and textile:  It hosts a small library with lots of books, art by the owner and other artists, postcards & souvenirs from around the world.  It brings you the feeling of music, and industrial art. 

The lounge/dining room goes back in time and tells the story of the history of South Africa, with antique features such as furniture, dutch scripted paintings, photos, and african art.
